The $85 regional registration fee is paid per team to participate in the SEPA OotM Regional Competition. This covers the cost of renting a venue and other administrative costs associated with running the competition. The regional registration fee is paid by the team. This expense, like others associated with the team's long term problem solution, should be shared by all members of the team.
Teams that move on to State Finals and World Finals will incur a registration fee at each level.>
$100 per school is paid for a National OotM Membership. This membership allows each school to form one team in each division, in each problem type - as illustrated below. Among other things, this covers the administrative costs incurred by the national OotM organization ... processing memberships, preparing program guides, etc. The membership fee is either paid by the schools' Home and School Association or by North Penn Odyssey of the Mind (via fund raising).
