The North Penn School District (NPSD) is launching a new digital wellness app, Qustodio, to build a safe and balanced digital environment for students.
Qustodio is a student safety and digital wellbeing platform to ensure every child is staying safe and secure on their school-issued devices. The Qustodio app empowers families to manage and support their student’s digital wellbeing through several features. The app serves as a companion to the district’s current web filter services.
After school hours, families can limit the internet access of the device and filter which content and apps are allowed. The real-time dashboard provides access to students’ digital activity, browsing history, screen time, and more. Time limits can be set to help students balance their time online.
The app is free for parents and guardians with students enrolled in the North Penn School District. Information on the app and how to use it will be communicated to families via email.
